Designed to work with an electronic stethoscope, we utilize the SensiCardiac® Heart Scanner to screen patients for heart murmurs, which could be an indication of a more serious condition. This is a great tool for pre athletic physical. (As you know there are many deaths every year of high school and college athletes from previously undiagnosed cardiac conditions.)

In a clinical study, SensiCardiac proved to be as accurate as a pediatric cardiologist in determining heart murmurs.

First a recording is made with the stethoscope. This recording is analyzed using a cloud-based algorithm. This interprets the sound and determines if a murmur is present. After this a diagnosis is sent to our physician who can then use this result to assist in diagnosing their patient and make the appropriate referral if necessary.
